This code was the final project of Penn's Introduction to Scientific Computing, an introductory computer science course. The code, which is in Python, simulates a game in which the player controls a small character that can move up and down on the screen in order to avoid advancing obstacles, similar to the popular game "Flappy Bird." The code is an animation where entities are shown on a plot with information of their current state stored in a dictionary. Their states are updated continuously depending on certain conditions met, such as user input or collision. This game encapsulates a lot of the foundational concepts of coding which I learned in the class, and it is admittedly pretty fun!
